AIMS OF THE GROUP
The Caithness Heart Support Group is a charity which offers a forum for
discussion between those sharing similar cardiac problems, and their
partners or helpers; to listen to and question professionals in various
related fields; and to enjoy social activities arranged by the group. The
Group occasionally raises funds for the purchase of equipment and services
to be used for the benefit of people in Caithness who have cardiac
problems.
ACTIVITIES
The Group meets several times each year for social events (such as
bowling, ceilidhs, etc.), and meetings are arranged for speakers from
within the profession to give a short presentations on cardiac related
subjects.
All money raised is for the benefit
of Caithness cardiac patients, and
to-date, we have purchased several thousand pounds worth of equipment
for
local medical centres. |
