       James Begg

1946 - 1992
Jim, or as he was affectionately known to a wide circle of friends "The Bandit" compiled a collection of poems over a twenty year period, mostly made up for reciting at Burns Nights in local halls where he was in great demand, and appreciated by all who heard him.  His sense of humour shines from each poem and his mastery of the Caithness dialect will bring tears to the eyes of many an exile from our county.
