Highland Council - Colin Sutherland - Conservative
Colin Sutherland is a retired hotelier and is at present Chairman of the Lybster Latheron and Clyth Community council

If elected my main objectives would be to try and achieve the following:

  • Retention of rural Post Offices
  • Simplification of funding mechanisms of local community improvements
  • Fight to secure assistance for small businesses in rural areas
  • Simplification of rules and regulations concerning small crofters and farmers
  • Upgrading of roads in the area
