Caithness And Sutherland Maternity Action Team |

The Caithness and Sutherland Maternity Action Team has been set up by NHS Highland to look at a way forward for Maternity Services at Caithness General Hospital. The first meeting agreed on the method to take forward the review and set up a number of sub groups to look at specific areas. The group has representatives from NHS Highland, GP's, Medical Staff (Consultants and Midwives), Councillors, North Action Group and the ambulance service. 4 April 2005 NEW PROJECT MANAGER RECRUITED FOR CAITHNESS & SUTHERLAND MATERNITY AND GYNAECOLOGY SERVICES Miss Hilary Bennett, MSc, will take up the post of Temporary Project Manager for Caithness & Sutherland Maternity and Gynaecology Services on Monday 11 April 2005. Miss Bennett brings with her over 10 years of project management experience gained within the private and public sectors and has taken up the part-time post for a 6 month period: She said: "I am delighted to be joining the Caithness & Sutherland Maternity Action Team. Since moving to Caithness in 2002 I have been associated with several local initiatives and highland charities. I am looking forward to using my skills and experience in this role to benefit the local community"
