The East Caithness SWRI 2002 Bulb show was opened by Arlette Bannister of Ackergill Tower. There was no show in 2001 due to Foot and Mouth restrictions. The number of entries was slightly down on 2000 but the ones that were entered were of very high quality. there was general agreement that many bulbs this year had bloomed too early for the show. Perhaps reflecting how arm our houses are nowadays compared to earlier years. |

In addition to the bulbs their were competitions for Easter Cards, cushions and Easter Bonnets. |
