Information for Parents
BIG HEART DAY
Thank you very much to everyone who donated baking or prizes for our fund
raising day and for supporting your child/children in their fundraising
efforts.
We were delighted to have children from Watten Playgroup along to join in
the activities and help us raise the fantastic sum of �170 which will go
to the Gamscot project, based in the Gambia. Well done everyone.
P.T.A. Meeting
There will be a P.T.A. Meeting on Wednesday 28th February at 7p.m. All
parents are very welcome.
World Book Day 2007
Every child has been issued with a �1 book token which allows them a
discount on books as detailed on the voucher.
Save a Life Training P7 Pupils
A Representative of the Scottish Ambulance Service will be in Watten
School on Thursday 8th March to deliver �Save a Life Training� to P 7
pupils.
Parental Involvement Bill
There is to be a meeting in Wick High School on 24th April at 7pm to
provide further information on this bill. All parents are very welcome to
attend.
Caithness Music Festival 2007 June 4th � 8th
This year we are proposing to enter some
verse speaking solos, and vocal solos in the Music festival. We also hope
to enter a choir which will draw children from different classes. The
following class entries will also be made:
P 1-3 Action Song
P 4-7 Action Song
P 6-7 Choral speaking
All entries have to be entered by the school before Friday 9th March.
