Dear Parent or Carer,

On behalf of the whole school staff may I welcome you all back to what I hope will be a very successful and happy school year for all at Wick North Primary School.  I would also like to offer a very special welcome to our new nursery children and primary ones.  I hope they all have a thoroughly enjoyable and educationally worthwhile time at the North School.

For many of you this will be the first time you have had someone go to the nursery or to school and things may be strange and new to you.  At Wick North we try to maintain an open door policy and welcome your questions, so do not hesitate to speak to your childs teacher or to myself if there is anything about your childs schooling which puzzles or concerns you.  The best time to do this will be at the end of the school day as the teachers are otherwise engaged the rest of the time.  Please phone 01955 602873 to arrange an appointment.

School Brochure 2006
Each year new entrants are given a copy of the school brochure which gives them a note of all the important school information for that year.  If you would like a copy of the most recent school information brochure please send a note to the school and we will happily supply you with a new brochure.

School Car Park
The school car park is for the use of school staff, official visitors and children with special needs only.

Please ensure that you do not park in the school car park or allow children in the car park at any time during school hours.

MFR Charity Day
On the 31st of August Moray Firth radio are holding their annual charity day and are asking schools to help.

Children are asked to bring 1, if they wish, to help this charity.  All monies raised on the day will be spent in the local area.

This is a very worthwhile charity and one which I feel is worthy of your support.

Thanks for your help.

Yours sincerely,
