Fyrish Monument  - Above The Cromarty Firth
Fyrish monument was built by Sir Hector Munro and is a folly that created some employment on the state.  The monument partly commemorates the capture of the Indian town of Seringapatam in 1781.  It resembles an Indian gateway.  It takes two hours to walk up the track and back at a reasonable pace.  It is quite hard going as it is uphill most of the way.
