REISS CAR PARK REPAIRS
Regular users of Reiss Car Park in Caithness will be pleased to know that the subsiding areas are shortly to be repaired by The Highland Council Planning and Development Service. The repair has been enabled by the allocation of £15,000 additional windfall funds from the Scottish Executive.

Unfortunately, due to the deep excavations required for repair to take place,  and the large area this will cover, the car park will be closed to the public from 5th February to 28th February to ensure public safety. The pedestrian beach access from the car park is also suffering from subsidence and will therefore also be closed for the duration of the works.

For further information contact Dorothy Maxwell, Principal Projects Officer, Planning and Development Service, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness, IV3 5NX tel: 01463 702280.
