A new writing competition
open to all Highland residents, with a parallel competition in the Faroe
Islands, on the theme of Northern Sea, Northern Sky.
Enter a poem (40 lines maximum) or saga (500 word limit) designed to be
rad aloud, prizes for the best in both adult and junior sections,
publication in an anthology for all short-listed entries. Pick up
an entry form from Tourist Information Centres, local libraries or
schools, download one from the festival web site www.northlands.org
or www.caithness.org shortly or

Closing date is 31 November 2001 and to inspire you there'll be
storytelling and writing events and workshops throughout the festival :
