SAFER SCOTLAND - OPERATION CRIME BRAKER
As part of the ongoing Crime Braker initiative, on Thursday 25 April 2002 Northern Constabulary seized cannabis resin with a value in excess of £65,000. A 41 year old woman has been arrested and is to appear in Dingwall Sheriff Court today. Inspector Gordon Greenlees, Northern Constabluary Drugs Co-ordinator said,

" This seizure reflects Northern Constabulary's commitment to target those who supply controlled drugs in the Highlands. This recovery and other recent significant seizures of heroin and ecstacy also sends a clear message to drug dealers that Northern Constabulary will vigorously investigate their activities and take all
legal means to effect their arrest and disrupt this pernicious trade.".
