Caithness Safe Highlanders 2014 was attended by primary 7 classes from all the primary schools in Caithness and North Sutherland. The day provided safety tuition to pupils on a range of topics. Landward councillor Matthew Reiss opened the day and welcomed everyone then helped as a steward for the rest of the day. The day was made a success with the help of Fire Scotland, Highland council, NHS Youth Action Team, SSPCA, Red Cross, Millers Construction, DSRL, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Fujitsu and pupils from Wick High School.
