ACADEMY returned to league business after their cup castastrophe but it was a hard slog for both sides. With a little luck, the Scorries might have had a substantial goal tally. However, a goal in each half was enough to clinch the points and send their fans home happy. Davie Allan led the way with a well-taken goal in the 18th minute, racing away after securing a long cross from Richard Macadie and Academy missed a goalden chance soon after.
