KP Technology the Wick based firm led by Professor Ian Baikie has once gained a Queens award For International trade for the second time. Lord Lieutenant Anne Dunnet presented the award after introductions by Gail Ross the civic leader for Caithness. The firm hasnow sold its Kelvin Probe technology in 100 countries to many firms and universities. The measurment equipment is at the cutting edge of measuring at the nano level of surfaces and has many applications in science and industry. K p Technology employs a range of science graduates continually improving its operation to be a world leader in its field.
