The vikings from Shetland will be in Caithness for a round of parades - Thursday 24th November Thurso 7.00pm - Lighting the Varnangag Beacon, 8.00pm Halkirk Lighting the Varnangag Beacon thena Ceilidh in Ross Institute. Friday 25th November - Da Doonie Day in wick 6.00pm Procession To Market Square. 7.00pm Switch on Christmas Lights. Light torches and then proceed to the Burning Site for boat burning. 8.00pm Entertainments in the Norseman Hotel.
