Sarclet Loch is surrounded by farms and is used by anglers.  The loch is also the venue for model yacht racing in the summer months.  2003 Competition

The loch is a good starting point for a short walk up the hill to an old coastguard station with good views along the coast and surrounding countryside.  Getting to the loch can be tricky as several roads lead to houses and not to the Loch itself.  But it does not take long to find the correct one and anyone will direct you.

Near to Wick with trout of various sizes.  Yarrows is well known to beginners locally and it has a smaller attached water - Marl Loch with larger trout.Sarclet
