Meeting The "Katie Morag" Author

Children from Castletown primary School had the privilege of meeting top Scottish children�s author, Mairi Hedderwick, in Thurso library.

Ms Hedderwick, creator of the much-loved Katie Morag stories, spoke to the pupils from Classes Five and Six about the development of a book, from the first ideas in an author�s head, through to publication.  She then read one of her new stories for older children, which will be published shortly.
