Castletown Primary School
Insect Art - February 2006
Joanne Kaar a local artist spent a few days at Castletown Primary school working with every child in the school from nursery to P7 with P5/6 creating insect panels that were displayed on the walls of the school.  Funding for the project came from PTA donations, Highland One word, Scottish National Heritage and fund raising events by staff, pupils and parents including a couple of evenings making paper from Ellie Poo. Caithness Ranger Mary Legg and volunteers also helped.
