The Elves and the Shoemaker
The Elves and the Shoemaker, currently on tour round schools in Caithness & Sutherland. The shots are of Caithness Primary children enjoying the opening performance: hoarse voices from shouting and sore arms from pointing were the order of the day. "Hammer" shows Andrea MacPhail and Alexander Sutherland as Shuggie the Shoemaker and his wife; "Spellbound" shows Euan Howells as young Shooie, under the spell of Brian Smith, the Seannachie.
