 In
Station Road there is a stone with inscriptions bearing the names of
"Distinguished Visitors To Wick" between 1850 and 1923. Quite who
this was to impress in the 1920's we are not sure. Perhaps it was a
small job creation or an attempt to increase people's pride in the town. |
