Beaches In Caithness

There a great many beaches on the Caithness coast.  When the sun shines many folk head for the beach with their children.  The water may be cold but on hot day like 13 July 2003 that was not  a problem and many folk were in for a dip.

Dunnet
Dunnet beach is used from time to time for Kite Buggying courses and surfing.
Local people often ride their horses along the wide open sands.
The rangers have a visitor centre and their is a caravan site next to the beach
