The Wick Project
The essential character of Telford's original concepts still exist although covered by later additions and alterations, then declining through neglect.  What a boost to the area if it could be put back the way it was intended and as it originally was conceived.  A superb example of almost the first attempt to design living and working spaces suitable for working families.

Poor pointing and alterations cover up or spoil Telford's work.

Decline and neglect in certain parts have gone on for a long period.

Many of the essential features are still there and could be rejuvenated.

Despite the derelict appearance Wick Heritage Museum shows what can be done.
