"Buyer Beware" when buying small pieces of
Scottish land is what we tell anyone who contacts Caithness.org. If
you are reading this in the UK or another country just think about why you
would want to encourage this useless means of breaking up land for bit of
paper with meaningless titles. And most Scots would laugh at at the
whole idea even if the sale is legal. Also it might be worth
checking the rights others might have with the new "Rights Of Access" and
think about whether your responsibility as a land owner might have you
incur legal bills in the future over disputes or other events surrounding
that little square of land. If you want to help perpetuate a little
bit of Scotland give your money to a charity like the
John Muir Trust who
retain land and estates for the good of the environment and the public at
large.
