Over to Scrabster today to take some pictures inside the old ice
house being renovated to become a seafood restaurant later this
year. Then after checking out the new Scrabster Pier
wandered round Thurso - coffee in the Town Hall - a few pictures
of shops for the Business Pages. Then to Castlehill, Dunnet,
Castle of Mey and Jophn O'Groats. A walk along the shore
following the walk from
John O'Groats To Duncansby Ness along the
route of the footpath. Very wet underfoot but not muddy.
Sand drains very well. Lots of seaweed over the first part
of the path from recent storms. But a very fresh day and the
rain stayed off as I made my way along the coast to Duncansby.
Huge amounts of shells on the beaches there at the moment.
