At Altnabreac Station a hut acts as the telephone box.  The phone seems to have lasted well and there is no sing of any weather damage.  Probably not many calls made from this most isolated public telephone in Caithness.  There are no made up roads to the station  - only tracks that are pretty good and covered in shale type gravel.  A few potholes in places but otherwise quite good for driving.  Not advisable in snow.
