Although I was not a pupil of this school the kids in the picture were contemporaries of mine at the High School.
I think I have a few identifications:
Back first: Jacko Harper?
Back second: Dan Stewart
Back fifth: John Ross
Front second: Donald "Star" Mackay?
The ones with question marks I am not certain about because I would not have
met them until August 1951 when they were 11/12 years old - kids change a
lot in 4 years.
Incidentally Diana Miller is now Mrs Jack Carter - Jack is a first cousin of my wife; and Janice Miller is now Mrs Gibson and lives in Thurso (the last I heard).
