The Road North From Inverness To Caithness

The road north from Inverness to Caithness is now often taken as the road over the Kessock Bridge but the older route via Beauly remains one of the most scenic with many short and long detours that can be taken before making your way north. This section will have a few places and detours added to show what lies on the old road north before the Kessock Bridge.  If you have not been on it for while try it again and you will find that often traffic is extremely light by comparison with the mad rush over the Kessock Bridge.
