Calling All Budding Playwrights

EVOLVE
EVOLVE could help you develop your playwriting skills. If you are an aspiring writer or have just started building your career as a playwright, EVOLVE would help you to hone your skills and cultivate your voice. Over several months the Playwrights’ Studio would provide you with focused script development with support from a director. You would receive advice and training to help you write a new play.

TWO WAYS TO EVOLVE (all participants must be 18 years or over)
Places on EVOLVE will be selected through IGNITE, a national competition which is supported by INSPIRE, a series of playwriting sessions.
INSPIRE sessions will be run by Associate Playwrights David Greig, Liz Lochhead and Nicola McCartney who will suggest approaches to playwriting, share their techniques and most importantly inspire you to write for the stage.
