Caithness Under 15's In Great Form
Caithness 85 Highland 7
Caithness Rugby Club under 15s travelled to Inverness on
Sunday 5 October 2003 with a squad of 19 players to play their third game
in the North Under 15 Development League against Highland at the Bught
Park. The weather was cold and blustery as Caithness kicked off and
it soon became apparent that the Greens were a much bigger, faster and
heavier side and soon had their counterparts under the cosh.
Caithness ran in 13 tries with Andrew
Mackay getting 5, James Paterson 2, Colin Miller 1, Mark Cannop 1, Allan
O'Brien 1, Greg Cormack 1 and Douglas Hill with 2. Colin kicked 10 out of
the 13 conversions.
Final Score Highland 7 Caithness 85.
Although this was a long day for all it
was worth it to achieve such a fine win.
The next game is due on 2nd November against Ross-Sutherland at home with
the biggy against Gordonstoun due on 9th November. Hopefully the
lads can build on this latest win and turn the tables on the lads from
Morayshire on the 9th
