Well we made it back to Caithness and have
been busy all day answering the phone and the shoals of email. We
are trying to reply to everyone but if we miss you thanks for all your
support and messages of congratulation following the fantastic wins at
Yell.com Awards in London. We have been so busy today we have not
had time to get back to normal yet.

Local site pips
illustrious rivals to web award
Caithness.org has been awarded Site
of the Year prize in this year's Yell.com awards. The site pipped
more established operators, such as Sainsbury's, the BBC and Egg, to the
top prize. The portal caught the eye of the judges because it
managed to capture the 'true spirit of the internet' by engaging an
entire community. The adjudicators say
Caithness.org won
because it has succeeded in persuading a community, previously
impervious to the allure of the internet, to venture online.
