Thursday 29 November has been set for an election for the Thurso East ward on The Highland Council, should there be a contest. The deadline for nomination papers is 4 pm on
Tuesday 6 November. Withdrawals must be made by 4 pm on Thursday 8
November. The representation on the 80-member council is
currently: 49 Independent; 11 Labour; 10 Liberal Democrat and 9 SNP. |
