Caithness News Bulletins November 2003
Caithness Under 15 Rugby -
Sunday 2 November In the second half the Ross-Sutherland boys contained the home attack and the most of this half was spent camped in Caithness territory and they managed to go over the home line for an unconverted try. However this seemed to spur on the home team and they ran in another 3 tries from Andrew Mackay, James Paterson and Colin Miller with Douglas Hill converting one of these tries. Final Score - Caithness 43 Ross-Sutherland 5. Overall a very satisfying result with some good running rugby played by the home team. A special mention to referee Richard MacNicol who kept the game flowing and encouraged both sets of players throughout the game. Next week is the away game to Gordonstoun and a change for the team to reverse the home defeat suffered back in September. Alex MacManus |
