About 1300 hrs. on Friday 23rd. November, 2001 a male person on the pretence of working for the Water Authorities entered the home of an elderly lady in Ullapool, Wester Ross. Whilst causing a distraction cash was removed from the house.

Police would like to make all householders aware to check idenfication of any doorstep callers prior to letting them into their homes.
