COMPOSTERS FOR SALE IN CAITHNESS
The Highland Council is supporting International Compost Awareness Week which runs from and to help more people compost at home, the Council are providing compost bins in Caithness at a reduced price of �5.

The 'Compost Converter' bins (photo), which are 330 litres and made from recycled plastic, come with a 20 year manufacturers guarantee.

Composting is easy to do at home and is full of benefits for you and the environment. Not only will you be able to reduce the amount of waste you throw away each week, you will be able to produce your own nutrient rich compost which will also save you money.

Organic waste that can be composted include fruit and vegetable peelings, tea bags and coffee grounds, grass clippings and leaves.

Vouchers are available from your nearest Service Point and can be exchanged for a composter at the newly opened Wick Recycling Centre.
