MS Boudicca was in Thurso Bay and passengers embarked at Scrabster for sight seeing in Thurso andother places in Caithnesss including the castle of Mey. Sea taxis plied back and forth all day carrying up to 120 passengers each time. MSD Boudicca can carry up to 900 passengers and has a crew of 320. The ship was built in 1973 and had a major refit completed in 2006. The ship weighs 28,338 tonnes. On board are three out door swimming pools, sauna, 2 jacuzzis, a fitness centre. Entertainment is provided in a show lounge, casino and there is a library and dining can be anyone 6 restaurants and eateries
