Win a copy of the History of The Halkirk Highland published to mark the 100th games.

We have five copies of the history of the games to give to the winners of our FREE competition.

Halkirk Highland Games holds its 100th games on Saturday 26 July starting at 12.15pm   All the usual events plus the added competition of a team from the United States Of America competing a with the local heavyweights.

To mark this 100th games we are running a competition.  The first five winners drawn from those answering three questions about the Halkirk Highland Games correctly will be sent a copy of the centenary book being published to coincide with the games.

Just answer the following three questions  -
1. Which well known local hotel is one of the games sponsors?
2. How many miles is it from Inverness to the Halkirk Games?
3. When were the first Halkirk Highland Games Held?

Some help can be found on the Halkirk Highland Games web site  

E-mail the answers to [email protected]  by Wednesday 23 July and include your name and full postal address.   The winners names will be published on the Caithness.org web site.  The prizes will be posted out shortly after.  E-mail and postal addresses will not be added to any databases and will be disposed of after the competition.

If you don�t win we hope to see you at the games when we will be taking pictures of the day.
