Local Co-op Stores Piling On The Services
Co-op
Stores in Caithness and elsewhere are seeing quite a few changes and
additional services being introduced recently.
Most
noiticeable is the hole in the wall bank that is provided by the Co-op
Bank. With full cash dispensing via its LINK terminal and no charges
for the services like withdrawing cash its sure to become a more popular
hole in the wall for many customers looking for banking services.
But
also recently added to its list of services has been the introduction of
Home Delivery for shopping. The service is free to customers
spending £25 or more. You can still get the delivery for lesser
amounts but it will cost you £3. for anyone without transport or who
does not or cannot carry lots of heavy groceries this is a great idea.
all you do is go along and make your purchases and then leave it for the
coop2u delivery van to take it all to your house at a time you agree
between 9.00 and 5.50pm. The service is available Monday - Saturday.
Groceries are placed in sealed boxes and even frozen
goods go into special cool boxes to ensure they are kept in the best of
condition. So now no one needs to struggle with goods on buses
or have any problem no matter how heavy the shopping is.
The coop2u delivery vans are going
to be seen more and more around Caithness
