W T Lyall and A S Reid
have written and compiled a history of the Wick Pipe Band and the book
is now on sale. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go to the
Pipe Band funds. It has taken 6 years to bring together the
information and search out pictures and track down details.
Even now they say
there must be much more information and pictures of the band in earlier
days and they are keen to get more for the bands historical
records. If anyone has more information or pictures they would
like to contribute to the band then get in touch with the authours. |
