PINXIT Exhibition At Timespan
Timespan in Helmsdale is currently mounting PINXIT, an anonymous exhibition of artwork by known and unknown artists, including a number of famous names, and the gallery recently received a boost with the last-minute submission of four drawings and a watercolour by the hugely influential Scottish artist John Bellany RA CBE.

In the democratic spirit of the show all works were priced at 35 each and the Bellany drawings will be going for that amount as well - but such is the demand, particularly as the anonymity is lost, that the opportunity to buy them will be assigned by drawing lots, while the watercolour will be sold by silent auction to the highest bidder.

There's one week left to see the Bellany work, and to check out the fine selection of paintings, drawings and photographs, many of which are by well-known Caithness painters and some of which are still available to buy. The exhibition, bids and draw close at 5pm on 1 May. Further information about the exhibition or the draw ring 01431 821327.
