CAITHNESS Heart Support Group was treated to a cookery demonstration, recently, hosted by one of its member, chef Laird Sutherland, who came out of retirement to prepare a thought-provoking variety of dishes, both savoury and sweet, some economical. Some members of the audience were invited to assist and there were tasting sessions at the demonstration in the Family Centre, Wick. Star of the night was Laird's French wedding cake which also went down a treat.
