FAIRY REWARDS BRITAIN'S MOST HELPFUL HANDS
And the winner is...Frances Purves from Wick, Caithness

Fairy's search to find the most Helpful Hands in Britain, in support of Make-A-Wish has now come to an end, and Fairy is delighted to reveal one of the finalists. Hundreds of people across Britain have been nominating their friends, family and colleagues to thank them for their care and in the hope that they would be crowned the most Helpful Hands in Britain. The entries were whittled down to 12 lucky winners, who will all receive one of 12 Fairy Wishes.

The Fairy Helpful Hands judging panel - including celebrity mum Gail Porter, Interior Designer and TV Presenter Naomi Cleaver, Heart 106.2 Presenter Harriet Scott, and Editor of Woman magazine Jackie Hatton - together chose Frances Purves from Caithness as one of the most Helpful Hands in Britain for her exemplar kindness, generosity and caring qualities.

Proud winner of the glamorous 400 shopping spree with personal shopper, Frances Purves works in charity shops and dedicates most of her time to helping others. She regularly drives disabled people around and has started a heart disease support group as well working in hospital radio, in order to ensure the people who need the most love and attention feel cared for.

Celebrity mum Gail Porter comments: "It has been an extremely difficult task whittling down the vast amount of Fairy Helpful Hands entries to only twelve finalists. All of the stories we received demonstrated amazing and caring qualities."

Interior Designer and TV Presenter Naomi Cleaver adds: "It was deeply humbling reading the stories of so many caring people who go the extra mile to help others and in the end it was extremely difficult to select our 12 winners as all the Fairy Helpful Hands entries were so deserving."
