Jack Selby From Thurso Does 12 Miles A Day |

| Jack Selby from
Thurso was heading for Thurso and nearing Thusater Farm when we caught
up with him. Despite suffering from a variety of disabling conditions
Motor Neurone and a heart condition Jack gets out most days for up to 12
miles and sometimes much longer routes round the county.
Originally from Hemel Hempstead he cam to Caithness in 1959 for the work
and quality of life. Having always been a sportsman he is
determined to keep active. At the age of 68 he is definitely
showing the way for the rest of us to save fuel and get fit. Cheers Jack and nice talking to you. |
