Building A Raft For Birds On A Pool Near St John's Loch

Two Rafts and a Platform set up

Launch of two floats and one platform carried out Monday 1st April on St. John`s Pool.

The location mentioned for the rafts is the pool near St johns and not the loch itself.

Raft building that took place on Saturday. This was Earthwatch project and was also supported by S.N.H and the local Scottish Ornithologists club.

We had 9 volunteers to help altogether of all ages. Despite the awful weather the group worked on. We plan to launch the rafts on Saturday 22nd March so anyone who wishes to help would be welcome. (waders would be useful)
