North Highland Cancer Information and Support Group
Open Mondays 10.00am - 3.00pm
Location - 5A High Street, Thurso

Cancer diagnosis and facing follow up treatment is a very traumatic experience, at this time it can be of comfort to speak to someone who has been through the same experience.

The North Highland Cancer Information and Support Centre is a fully confidential service where you can drop in any time from 10am to 3pm Mondays, have a relaxing cup coffee or tea, have a chat (either group or one-to-one) and/or pick up information leaflets on everything from medical to financial advice, and browse through files to get help with travel, accommodation while away from home and reliable health websites.

Free access to various “Relaxation Therapies” are available by appointment through a fully trained therapist.

If you would prefer just a Quiet One-to-One confidential chat/search for information the Centre is also open Fridays from 10:30 – 13:30

The Centre is located at 5A High Street Thurso, (right above the Cancer Research UK Charity Shop, access by ramp in front of the shop or stairs to the rear outside the shop)

The centre is open to all Cancer Patients, Survivors, Immediate Family and Carers.

Telephone: 01847 890996 (There is a regularly checked answer machine available when no staff are in the premises.)
