NATIONAL ASTHMA CAMPAIGN
SCOTLAND is the independent UK charity working to conquer
asthma in partnership with people with asthma and all who share their
concern through a combination of research, education and support.
The Caithness Branch of the National Asthma Campaign Scotland exists to
serve the local community and our aims are:
- To provide support to those with asthma, and their families, in
the area.
- To promote research into asthma and its allied disorders.
- To provide information about asthma and to spread the knowledge
of the
causes, alleviation and treatment of asthma to everyone who
needs it.-
- To provide, through appropriate medical channels, medical
equipment for
use by and for the treatment of persons suffering
from asthma and its allied
disorders.
BRANCH ORGANISATIONS
The Branch is run by an elected committee whose members live in
different parts of the area, and is supported by a Medical Adviser.
BRANCH ACTIVITIES
The Branch holds open meetings, which are sometimes addressed
by a speaker chosen for his or her specialist
knowledge or skill. Examples of topics covered include
Asthma and stress, childhood Asthma, New Treatments for

always welcome.
