Wick High School Does 'The Apprentice'

Pupils from Wick High School recently undertook a fundraising challenge to
raise money for two local charities. The challenge was inspired by the BBC
TV program of the same name and was run by Catherine Patterson of
Volunteering Highland to engage young people in volunteering. The boys
team raised the most money £286.60p for Caithness Mental Health, and the
mainly girls team raised £240 for Balmore Animal Centre. The rector Mr
Trail took on the role of Allan Sugar and after consultation, he concluded
that the boy’s team should ‘get fired’.
