Crafts In Caithness
There a great many craft activities followed in Caithness. Some are pursued for fun and others as small businesses. A number of people are following in their families footsteps carrying on making things or creating things as their grandparents might have done. Often they have no necessity to do so but take great satisfaction from creating something using old methods. A few crafts have been introduced with people moving to Caithness and yet others have been learned over the years by individuals pursuing hobbies or interests outside their normal jobs. However they have come to their expertise the people involved all share a quest to create quality items for their own or their families use or for sale in small businesses. This section will show some of them as we gradually add this section in coming months. |
