Lyth
Arts Centre
Live Performances
Lyth Arts Centre pulled another success off as the cast of The Wedding gave rollicking performances to a packed house where the audience were the guests at "The Wedding". Lyth Arts Centre is closed for renovations but this inspired setting in the Portland Hotel for a Scottish wedding between two families was hilarious. Everyone enjoyed themselves as the humour just kept coming. if you are near one of the other venues in other parts you have until Saturday 8 June to see it. See below for final dates and tickets. |
Get Dressed Up For this
Comedy And Join The Guests As Part of the Cast This s special treat for those who do not want to spend the entire Jubileee Weekend watching TV. Both the play and the wedding it concerns take place in a smart and much loved Caithness hotel and as the audience double as the wedding guests, it's a golden opportunity for those who like dressing up. this comedy describes the ultimate nightmare wedding where "it all goes horribly wrong". the cast includes Brian smith and Dick Clarke, both Thurso born actors who play brother butchers, Alyth McCormack who will make one of the prettiest Highland brides ever seen and the incomparable American comedienne Lesley Quilty whom some will remember from "The Comic" last year.
