Dimensions: Unknown

Notes: This stone is built into the gable wall of Latheron mains Farm, which intending visitors should note is a private residence; permission to view the stone should be sought. The design of a 'crescent-and-V' symbol can be made out with difficulty some height up on the whitewashed wall, incised upon what is probably a fragment of a larger Class 1 stone. The present owner has no knowledge of its provenance, but it is interesting that this farm occupies the site of Latheron Castle. In the garden walling of this house is a fragment of a cross slab (see entry for Reference Number SSC/17).
