Further to the survey carried out by Dr. Hipkin of Edinburgh University on the above site at Dunnet, members of the Field Club have been able to borrow the equipment and continue the survey. Two areas of strong magnetic variation have now been found and carefully recorded.

The Field Club has also had correspondence with the Inspectorate of Ancient Monuments who hope to visit the site in the near future.
